Allegorical for Music” was designed in the pre-Raphaelite style and represents a chorus & orchestra directed by Sainte Cecile, who appears in the center of the design, adorned with a wreath of flowers in her hair. Two groups of musicians surround her, appearing before a castle background and a mille fleur ground. The border is adorned with flowers, fruit & birds. 6'8 x 9'6 high
