Antique Caucasian Shirvan Rug Circa 1880. The main navy filed displaying six shields with a delicate design that is repeated in the main border the navy ground filled with floral elements together with the outer border again repeating this design creates a true artistic masterpiece to this small gem of a rug. These types of antique Caucasian rugs were woven in the eastern part of the region, mostly along the west coast of the Caspian Sea.
