Antique Marasali Shirvan Prayer Rug Circa 1880. The mihrab is set on a navy field which is filled with boteh's in a diversity of designs and colors with Shirvan style borders framing the arrangement to precision. Marasali rugs come from an area in the south of the Shirvan region of the Caucasus.
